Everything else that we post about is open for you to join! There is SO MUCH to do at Disney World so planning can be a bit daunting. If you need help or suggestions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
If you are staying on property at a Disney Resort you will be able to book your Fast Passes on April 30th. If not you’ll be able to book on May 30th. You should download the My Disney Experience App and purchase your park tickets prior to these dates so you’ll be able to make your fast pass reservations!

The bridal party will be staying at the Contemporary resort but there is no discounted group rate available unfortunately!
If you would like to stay on property we recommend the following resorts at various price points:
-
Value- Pop Century and Art of Animation. These resorts are lower in price but just got the Skyliner! This means super easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
-
Moderate- Coronado Springs, this resort just got the Gran Destino Tower based on Salvador Dali’s collaboration animation with Walt Disney called “Destino” which Anita and Joe saw in Paris! It’s trippy and awesome and the resort is gorgeous and has awesome lounges!
-
Deluxe- The Contemporary or The Polynesian. The Polynesian is actually Anita and Joe’s FAVORITE resort on property! It’s like escaping to a tropical hideaway.
There are also air BnBs and tons of other close by resorts. If you stay off property we do recommend renting a car or being ok with a decent lyft budget to get to and from the parks.

COMFORT!
There is no reason to be dressy or fancy, we want everyone to be comfortable as we celebrate! There are no dress codes for anything that we have planned, but if you have other dining plans you can check that restaurants guidelines to see if they have
a dress code as some nicer places will have some restrictions.
If you plan to join us for our park hoping day July 1 you’ll definitely want to have supportive footwear!
Expect it to be hot, expect it to rain randomly, expect the sun to be brutal.
Expect to have a hell of a lot of fun anyway!!!

Let’s be honest, you all have phones with apps for this, here is the address!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
4600 N World Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
If you’re staying on property you can take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and walk over to the Contemporary resort! Any bus driver will be able to help guide you.
And the Contemporary is really big and hard to miss!

Most of you know, but for anyone who doesn’t here are the highlights!
We have known of each other for years being in the theatre community on the east end, but we really became friends when Anita signed on to stage manage the play “A Steady Rain” which Joe and Eddie were producing and performing. We stayed in touch after the production and formed a beautiful friendship that eventually and honestly accidentally became a real relationship. It was complicated and messy and painfully difficult much of the time given that their first year of life as a couple was spent caring for Joe’s mother who had Alzheimer’s. Helping each other get through that experience made us realize how well we worked and gave us a stronger foundation and bond than either of us had ever had before.
In 2018 we moved to the apartment and got to have our first experience of life just the two of us. We traveled to Paris, Norway, and more than a few trips to Disney World.
Anita has never been known for being patient, so when she knew she wanted to be engaged to Joe, she made sure he knew it too.
While hanging out with one of our friends Terry Brennan (who you will meet wedding week!) at Hollywood Studios Anita stumbled upon the PERFECT engagement ring. A simple silver Mickey outline. And under $50. Ummm- YAS. Terry aided in the espionage and helped procure the ring and got it safely to Joe. He proposed the next day during a Mickey & Minnie meet and greet at Magic Kingdom and it couldn’t have been more perfect! (So glad you got the hint babe 😂)
Disney World has been an incredibly meaningful place for us for so many reasons. In the beginning it was our respite from the rigors of caregiving, it is a source of inspiration for design and dance and writing, it is a place where we both weep like babies during the fireworks because the beauty and the Magic is truly beautiful and we feel it exactly the same way.
For us to be able to get married in Disney World and share some of our favorite Disney spaces, stories and memories with our closest friends means so much to us.
Thank you for being part of our story!
